Well, I was getting tired of my trusted Adidas as I have changed around my gym workouts. I am more into plyometrics and body weight stuff these days, kind of like P90X. I needed a pair of stable shoes that let me jump around, still do squats but gave me enough support. That's what I went looking for. These Asics are great for the body weight and general weight training. I think you can also use them for basic running (I hate running, so am the worst to say if they are among the best for that). But, as for plyo, I did not find them very arch friendly. I pronate quite a bit and need cushioning. That I did not have any complaints about cushioning is actually awesome. I would recommend this one, but before you decide, wear them and try them when moving laterally. Overall, it is a good shoe and it looks great.

My First Cross Trainer... Since knee replacement surgery my running days are over, but the gym continues to beckon. Needing a new multipurpose shoe, I did some research and found the FX2 was highly rated. I was not disappointed. Fit is true - mine is 10.5 - and the shoe accepts my orthotics with no problem. Forefoot cushioning is less than I'm used to, but isn't really an issue on indoor aerobic machines. If they wear well, and previous Asics shoes have, I'll be sure to buy another pair. One caveat - if you're primarily a runner, buy something else.

Got these for everyday wear along with a little running; had them for several months now. At first, they were pretty clunky (a much stiffer heel than my previous pairs of Asics) and the heel strike felt pretty weird. After wearing them for a bit, that feeling mostly went away. Pretty comfortable during running. Overall, a good shoe and great service from Zappos; very fast shipping.

Great kids shoe! I got two pairs of these shoes for my two boys. Zappos provided amazing service and got these shoes to me for the lads when some original FX fell apart. These shoes are amazingly tough and able to handle the rigors of PE class, playground time, and generally anything my two lads have been able to dish out. Lastly, these shoes look cool.

Great Shoe - I overpronate and I have a high arch so I have to be careful on my running shoe choices. I am running more on off road type surfaces due to being currently in Iraq and this shoe feels great. It is comfortable, breathes great and has good traction. It can be slippery if the surface is wet though.

Awesome - I ordered these shoes at 7:00 PM on Thursday and they were at my door at 2:00 PM Friday...how do they do this?? Shoes fit as ordered, I'll see how they last power lifting. 7th pair of shoes from Zappos and I will never order from any other on-line company!

From the moment I put them on, I knew they would become my favorite. I use them at the gym and my feet never hurt. I found them on Zappos just by browsing cross training shoes.

Great Shoe for the gym - Great support and grip for the gym to navigate between cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights area. Shoe surrounds my foot perfectly but some may think it feels tight.

Great Shoe!! I love this shoe. My first pair of Asics. I couldn't be any happier. They're light and feel great. You can feel the air rush through the shoe.
