| A grand improvement over the original - I play indoor volleyball quite regularly. I have been through quite a few pairs of shoes trying to find something that fits me ideally and provides the performance I expect of a volleyball shoe. This shoe not only looks 300% better than the original gel sensei, but it feels great on the foot. I recently played a weekend tournament in the shoes and suffered no discomfort whatsoever. I did have to have the front of the shoe stretched at a cobbler (~$10 average price) but the shoe withstood the stretch and performed perfectly for me. I love the shoe, although it does have the synthetic leather upper. Having said that, it does not flex as much in the width as, say the 1100v or its successors. They have a primarily mesh upper that adapts quicker to wider feet. Otherwise, the shoes are made well enough to stand up to a shoe stretching at a cobbler. | |

| Worth the money - I've been playing volleyball for ten years, and always wore basketball shoes - mainly because I don’t like the way most volleyball shoes look. I've noticed that the basketball shoes forefoot cushioning never seems to be enough. I decided to finally try a pair of volleyball shoes and went with the Gel Sensei. I have never been happier with shoes I've worn for volleyball. The cushioning is unbelievable. I don't feel anything, and I play middle, which is a lot of pounding on the feet. I'm still not crazy about how they look, but that’s not even an issue as the cushioning is just outstanding. These are the best shoes I've ever worn for volleyball. | |

| Great Shoe and shipping! After searching for the right volleyball shoe for my husband, I finally decided for the Asics Gel Sensei. Great Choice, it fit him perfectly, he noticed its reliability right away. My husband has sort of wide feet and it still provided comfort without having to opt for the wide shoe. This is definitely a keeper! Plus, I placed my order on Monday night; I got the shoes on Tuesday 10am!! BEST RELIABLE SERVICE EVER! GREAT JOB! | |

| Great volleyball shoes! I just received these last week and have to say I love them. Played for 3 hours last night and they were comfortable from the get-go. Pricey but well worth the money. I'll make sure to let these only touch a hardwood floor. Kudos to Zappos for the great overnight delivery (ordered them on a Thurs afternoon and got them Fri morning!). | |

| These shoes are super cute, the pictures don't do them justice. Every time I wear them I get at least two people stopping me asking me where I got these shoes. They were worth every penny I spent on them plus more. And as for being comfortable... I went out dancing with them and I didn't complain once that my feet were hurting. | |

| Great Solid Shoes - I usually buy cheap shoes at the discount stores. A good quality shoe makes playing a lot easier and safer. My feet no longer hurt and I perform better in these shoes. They are a little heavy, but considering the layers of technology, it is a good tradeoff. (Zappos service was the best. I would buy from them again.) | |
