Very solid, stylish & light trail shoe. Good for a men's narrow(ish) foot. I'd say the fit is snug for me, but not like a glove using a "green SuperFeet insole". My left foot is narrow & my right is narrow & low volume. Toe box is wider than a typical sneaker, which is good for traction/balance on varying terrain. Your toes won't feel crunched up. Runs a 1/2 size small. I normally wear a men's 12 and in the Trabuco a 12.5. My toes were literally at the end with a size 12. Shoe breathes well in warmer conditions. Two problems I encountered: The toe box is higher from top to bottom than traditional Asics shoes. So for low volume feet, like my right foot, there is a lot of inward folding of the toe box into the top of my toe area. Doesn't hurt or pinch, but it is noticeable while walking. Kinda annoying. My left foot was a perfect fit. If your feet aren't low volume, you should be fine. Second, on my right foot, outer big toe, I'm getting a callus. Again, my right foot is the low volume foot & more of the issue than is the shoe. Really nice shoe, but I wish the toe box wasn't so tall and I wasn't getting a callus like I mentioned. In contrast I also have the Asics Kayano and have absolutely no issues with fit, though it's not intended for trail use. Based on the two negatives I've mentioned, I give 4 stars for an overall rating.

This is an awesome shoe. I am a mailman for the US Postal service and I wear this shoe on my 14-mile mail route. If you are wondering if it truly is waterproof, then wonder no more. I walk in the rain all of the time with this shoe and my feet are perfectly dry at the end of the day. The red/blue/grey are perfect colors for my uniform and with a pair of jeans. In my 16-yrs of carrying mail, this is as good of shoe as I have ever worn. I once thought the Gel-Nordic GPRE-TEX was the best, but this shoe is better. I also wear Asics products to run in and I must say that Asics is top of the line.

Great wet weather running shoe - This is a perfect walking/running shoe for folks who like to get out there regardless of the weather. Very comfortable, keeps feet dry, warm, and is not heavy. Too bad they do not have a women's version. Fortunately I can wear a men's 7.5. This shoe runs small, the only other negative is that it doesn't come in widths other than the standard width. I don't have a wide foot, but I do have a high instep which requires me to have a wider shoe. Maybe someday shoe designers will realize that regular sized people need more widths available to them.

Asics finally makes a waterproof running shoe! I have been waiting a long time for this shoe and it beats all the others I have tried, hands down. I work a job that requires a lot of indoor walking and brief trips outside. This shoe held up perfectly over a long, hard, Wisconsin winter. It proved to be lightweight, comfortable, and truly waterproof. I walked through slush and snow and my feet never got wet. When they got too dirty, I just ran them under a faucet and they cleaned up nicely. They are well worth the price.

Great Hard Surface Rain Running Shoe - OK - so it doesn't rain ALL the time in Seattle, but enough where your regular street running shoes will easily soak through. I've worn these about 10+ time since my purchase and the Gore-Tex really works (no soak through). These do run one-half size smaller so order a larger size. Also, b/c of the Gore-Tex, they're not as pliable as a regular shoe, but do loosen up after about 5-6 uses.

Great Trail Shoe! This is the most comfortable trail shoe I have ever worn and it is truly waterproof. If you are an Asics fan, you will especially love them. The fit is very true to size (for a running shoe) and they are great right out of the box. I run/walk in very wet areas and had a tough finding a comfortable waterproof shoe. This is it!

Definitely worth the investment! I've always been a big fan of Outdoor/Trail-Running shoes. When it comes to comfort, you just can't beat ASICS. They literally MOLD TO YOUR FEET. My only negative on this particular shoe is they're not offered in multiple widths. Having said that, they are wide enough for my feet to where I feel no toe pain.

Awesome Shoe - Great running shoe. Requires a half size larger. Overall, very comfortable shoe. I run an average of 3-5 miles per day and these were comfortable on the first run. The soles were very supportive as I ran along the gravel beds along the shoulder of the road.
