I used this shoe for collegiate level cheer and it is a great shoe for the job. Contrary to other reviews, my wide soccer feet found this shoe accommodating with its wonderful gel arch support. Great for standing on a basketball court for 4 hours straight. Very stable shoe, hard to roll an ankle on this one while tumbling. However, you may find yourself tripping over your feet because of its wide base, a small detail. This is the shoe that got me sold on the Asics brand. I have wide feet and weak ankles from soccer yet it stands up the abuse of miles of running or weight lifting. | |

Bought these shoes for my hubby. He has a terrible time finding wide walking shoes that have good cushioning but no arch. These are perfect for him! It took ordering 4 different styles of shoes (if you have wide feet don\'t bother trying any Nikes), and thanks to Zappos, he was able to make a choice in our living room (he hates trying on shoes at the store because it\'s usually fruitless). And thank you previous reviewers, because your comments helped me decide to give these a try! He now has two pair and I\'ll order him another soon. | |

| I could not believe these shoes when I received them in the mail. I am a shoe nut and these shoes met EVERY bit of my criteria. I will be ordering many more of these because I have a feeling that they will stop making them because they are perfect. I actually don't want this review to influence to buy these shoes. I have bought Asics in the past because they are lightweight and usually true to size, which is important for my size 8 4E feet. These are no exception. My foot doctor also recommended Asics and New Balance. And it is so easy to order with Zappos. My past two orders have arrived the next day, with free shipping! What a deal! | |

Good value for the money, had other Asics more expensive before with mesh in front breaks down with wear and tear faster, these however don't have the Duomax for running or hiking, makes a fine gym shoe or just plain old walking shoe! Thanks again Zappos! | |

Work for Postal Service. Hard to find good shoes. Walk average of 12 miles daily. After 5 yrs of terrible shoes, these are awesome. Will never buy another brand. As long as there are black Asics, I'll be wearing them!!!! | |

Nice looking trainer, but has almost zero arch support. That is very disappointing because the rest of the shoe has good support. I am not sure why Asics designed a shoe with basically no arch support. I have found it difficult to buy Asics anymore. If you're looking for arch support, move on. | |
