| Lots of change from the previous model - First off, they made some nice colors for the Split Second 7, which is nice. The split sole is larger than the previous version, and I mean that they are slightly thicker which helps pivoting and creating solid penetration steps while working a shot. I like these a lot better than any Adidas shoe because I find Adidas to be too stiff, and the Response shoes I had were heavy, unbreathable, and way less flexible than ASICS. Another shoe to look at are the Cael V3 shoes, which are very nice and has the split sole as well. Cael V3's are great if you want extra grip when you're sprawling on an offensive shot, and if you would rather have the most flexibility instead of the solid support on the mat the Split Second has. | |

| The shoes look really great and light, but I should have checked out the reviews, too. Per advice of another customer, you should get at least .5 to one size larger. I called customer service and they swiftly processed my exchange. It will be here tomorrow! Oh I'm looking forward to dancing hip hop with these shoes, even though they are wrestling shoes. The separated soles are great for dance classes. Thank you zappos.com. | |

| A little narrow for my foot, but they broke in after two workouts in the gym. Order a half to one size larger than what you normally wear. | |
