Asolo Trinity Reviews:

Fabulous hiking boot! This boot is lightweight with great traction and support. My hikes are typically rocky and this boot has a vibram sole and sticks to the terrain. I find the fit is slightly large, I normally wear a 10, but in this boot I wear a 9.5. My foot is narrow, but because of the lacing system it fits perfectly. As others have said, Asolo could do a better job with the insert, but I just remove and use my own. I love Patagonia boots, but they are not making them any longer, so this is my new go to boot as I hike over 30 miles weekly. I always have a brand new pair ready to go!

I have horrible ankles and I've twisted them so many times I've caused fractures. These have great ankle support. I also have extremely sensitive feet and blister easily with most shoes, never mind boots! I wore these straight out of the box with no breaking in period. Very comfortable and lighter in weight than I had expected. The color is not a true red, nor a red/orange. It is more of a salmon color and although I would have liked them to be a deeper red, I am going to hold on to these because I am a very picky shoe shopper and these feel like winners.

I bought these for a hiking trip to Israel. I put Birkenstock inserts under the factory insoles and wore them quite a bit to break them in. I just returned and they performed beautifully. My feet never hurt and I had no hint of blisters after much hiking and walking. The soles were not as good on the many stone surfaces, wet and dry, that we encountered but great for all others. Asolos typically run narrow and I cannot wear them but these were just wide enough for my wide feet.

Fits like a glove

Just started trail hiking this summer. Wanted something to continue hiking once the weather turned cold, rainy, and snowy. Ordered these online and had some concern about fit, etc. I was not disappointed. They ran true to size and fit like a glove (in a good way). Been hiking on them now for a couple of weeks and love them. Good stability in mud and rain. Feet stay warm and dry. Hiking up and down hills on rocky uneven trails is a breeze. Would recommend these and buy this brand again.

Sooooo comfy!

I have tried on every pair of backpack/hiking boots available at REI and these were the only ones that fit both my wide toes and my skinny ankles. Added a pair of Spenco Total Support inserts and I am ready for some long summer hikes!
I don't know yet how they will do under a multiday load, but have a feeling they will be fine. BTW...No points for style....They look like ugly salmon bowling shoes from above, but style is not a big priority for me.

favorite boots.....EVER!

LOVE these boots! Took them on a 2 week trip to Peru and they were my favorite footwear. Did well on rocky, steep paths, stone steps, and in the city with cobblestones. I did put in my own insoles with arch support. The insoles that come with these are junk, IMO.
I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel and very sensitive, picky feet. These were comfortable out of the box.
Love the color!

Comfortable Boots

I have a tough time getting boots to fit but these were comfortable right away. They are a little bit big but I solved the problem by swapping out the original insoles for more padded ones. I've worn them on snowy trails, dry trails, and muddy trails. The boots maintained traction on all of them. These are my third pair of Asolo boots and I continue to be impressed with the brand.
