Best Shoes I've ever purchased! |

| Obviously I've been missing out on Asolo brand shoes way too long. I've always tried to get along with cheaper brand shoes for hiking. After wearing these the first day, I'm a convert. Don't compromise with your feet! These have wonderful support, both arch and ankle. They look really good and have excellent traction.. I wear them every day for work, on wet and oily floors. No slip! I wore them into a Sportsman-type W-house, where they sell all manner of high end shoes and an employee told me he really liked my shoes.... The no scuff toe is great protection on the front and sides of the heel. I got the 13 EE and they are perfectly sized for me. I've always needed a little more width than MED - D, and the EE's aren't excessively wide like some brands. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. |

SOLID BOOT |
| Rating: | |
| After a solid 50 hours of wear consisting of mixed office and hiking in the mountains of Nor-Cal the boots have finally stopped hurting my feet. My foot is large and hard to fit so when I found the Asolo Echo in my size (14) and width (2E) I bought them. First impression is of a well built and solid boot. After trying them on and wearing them around the house and work it became obvious that they were going to be a pain in the butt to break-in. Don't let the wide sizing info fool you. If you have a wide foot this may not be the boot for you. It feels like a 13.5 - D width. That being said, if the boot fits you better than me, go for it. It is a solid boot. If not, try the Lowa Renegade. |

Excellent support, but top is tight |

| This is the first pair of Asolo's I've owned which required a significant break-in period. They are also the first which were painful to wear in the beginning. The top edge of the gusset around the tongue is way too thick and stiff, leading to some raw spots on my ankles until I learned to fold the gussets to the outside when putting them on. After discovering that work-around, they have been comfortable boots. They have never let me down in the support department, despite carrying 40lb loads over sometimes tricky terrain. I've taken a few stumbles and never so much as a twinge from my ankles. This is a good boot which would be a great boot except for the design flaw in the gussets. |

| Purchased for Red River - Taos Ski Valley 5 day hiking trip. Boots did not require any breakin. Hiked varied terrain requiring solid performance from a mid-weight all-purpose hiking boot. Although not water proof, the boot perfomed exceptionally well in all conditions. This is my 1st Asolo boot, but definitely not my last. Will opt for gore-tex lining in next pair of Asolos. I am happy with purchase decision and feel that you could not go wrong with this boot if you get it in the $70 price range. That certainly could done at Sierra Trading Post. Hold out for one of the many good sales online. |

Asolo echo hiking boots |

| This boot feels a bit smaller than a wide ought to. But it will work at the sale price, I don't want to return it. A very attractive boot. I will probably wear it for routine outings like to shop for groceries...and not for hiking because I have some Lowa's I wear to work that would due in that situation. But these would likely bee good there too. I have worn them around the house a few days to get them broken in. They seem a bit inflexible, but I don't even have a mile on them yet, so that could change. |

| Great boot, always hiked with hiking shoes until a bad ankle sprane force me to get boots from then on, came across the and would never go back. These are great, used a pair for several months now even tested the traction on the mist trail and a hike to half dome in yosemite and the boot passed with flying colors, looking forward to buying my second pair. These feel true to size as a street boot but remember get a half size bigger if ur using liner, hiking socks etc. |

Super Boots!! |

| These are great boots for hiking and everyday use. I have gone through several pair over the last several years and wear them every day. I wear hiking boots for everything and all the time. Work, walking, hunting, even when dressed up a bit. I need good foot support and they always work for me. I wear no other boots but these and always have an extra new pair in the box when I need them. |

| Planning on hiking in Zion (angels landing) and Yosemite (Half Dome) and think these boots will work great. Since I haven't had high quality boots like this before I'm not sure if they need a little more arch support or just a little more of a break-in period but overall they felt comfortable to wear right out of the box. They have great ankle and foot support overall and will be great on uneven terrain. |

Great boot for the money! |

| I got this boot for an upcoming trip to Half Dome in Yosemite. I have had them for about two weeks. They are comfortable, but do require some break in. They are a bit heavier than I'm used to, but I wanted the better ankle support and traction that these provide. The main downfall is they are a bit stiff in the heel and ankle. |

| I use this product every day. I live ten minutes from the mouth of pisgah national forest, and I will always be wearing hiking boots or trailrunning shoes. That's how I've lived my entire life. I have had several pairs of Asolo boots, and have raved about all of them. They are the perfect fit for my feet, right out of the box, every time. |
