I purchased the vest because I was not interested in wearing a smelly, wet, rental vest that had been worn all day, that was the old style, orange horse collar, life vest, for our full moon night paddle, as shown in the pictures of previous rookie kayak adventure seekers. And I felt like a pro, even though I was caught, paddling with my ore upside down, rookie mistake. :0) I love my Camino 200. It is a wonderful fit, wasn't all wet, or smelly, like the rentals would have been, and was very comfortable, and not restrictive at all while kayaking. I tried on several vest and it was the most comfortable, with the neoprene shoulder straps, and the contoured PE foam in the back. It was a bit toasty when we hit the water, at 8:00pm and slightly nippy, after getting wet, when we got out at 10:15pm, and the vest was very comfortable in both temperature extremes. I also found the adjustments on the vest easy to use. Also one of the guides on our trip, also noted how easy it was to see my location in the dark, due to the reflective emblem on the back of the vest. I also loved the contoured foam in the back of the vest, and found it very comfortable in the full back sling type kayak seats. It also has hand warmer pockets behind the front zipper pockets.
