Atlas Elektra 923 Snowshoes - Perfect for ladies looking to make winter a little more interesting, the Atlas Women's Elektra Snowshoe Kits include Elektra 9 Series snowshoes (perfect for gentle or rolling terrain), LockJaw 2 poles (for when the trail gets spicy), and a convenient tote to carry it all.

  • Women-specific, V-shaped frames are made from sturdy 6061 aluminum and are designed to facilitate a woman's natural stride
  • 6061 aluminum V-Frame is both lightweight and durable

Weather and Wind:

  • Durable Nytex decking is lightweight, flexible, and easily sheds snow to lessen the load
  • Proprietary V-shape tracks straight in deep snow, saves energy by pulling less snow as you step forward, and allows you to walk with a more natural gait
  • The result of the design is that freedom of movement is increased, the toe crampon can bite into snow better and the foot is allowed a more natural rotation

  • Zippered snowshoe tote keeps everything together for easy storage and transport

  • FRS absorbs impact and lets your foot flex naturally side-to-side for a comfortable, stable position on traverses and uneven terrain

  • Elektra design features frames shaped to better accommodate a woman’s gait, and bindings built to better fit women’s boots
  • Wrapp™ Trail bindings use a continuous webbing design that tightens snugly with a single pull; bindings also cradle feet and arches for a secure, comfortable fit

  • Abrasion-resistant, lightweight Nytex™ nylon decks stay flexible when cold and stand up to the elements for lasting use

Traction and Grip:

  • Steel toe crampons supply sure-footed traction on icy and snowy terrain; heel crampons increase traction while traversing and descending
  • Tempered steel All-Trac toe crampon and tri-cleat provide traction in all directions for confident footing on rolling terrain

  • ~ Made from lightweight 6000 series aluminum (1 lb. 4 oz./pair)

  • Patent-pending Free-Rotating Suspension (FRS) design allows your foot to move freely with minimal resistance
  • Free-Rotating™ Suspension lets the binding rotate much farther forward than previous Atlas designs, freeing up the stride and reducing the amount of tail flip

  • LockJaw 2 adjustable poles help maintain stability on uneven terrain
  • ~ Steel tips ensure secure pole placement
  • Recommended load specification for the Atlas Elektra 923 snowshoes includes weight of hiker with gear
  • ~ Patent-pending LockJaw mechanism is easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves
  • Nose and tail shapes are optimized to provide a balanced platform for stable footing and facilitate an easy, natural stride

Stroll through wintry snowscapes with these Atlas Elektra 923 snowshoes, which boast a women-specific design and great traction for use across rolling terrain.

Atlas Elektra 923 Snowshoes Reviews:

Great Snowshoes

I used mine just this past Xmas w/e in Lake Tahoe. Fresh snow so a lot of blazing my own trail. I sunk about 8" with every step, but no fault of the shoe. These were quick and easy to get on and off. None of the straps froze up nor did they become loose while hiking. I've only used one other pair...Tubbs and they were heavy and harder to get in and out of. I'll keep these as long as they last!

just what i was looking for

I have rented snowshoes over the past few years, and I didn't do a ton of research before this purchase. However, I absolutely love these snowshoes and am happy to add them to my collection. I know I will have these for a long, long time because snowshoeing is something I hope to be doing for many decades to come...
