The Atlas Race running snowshoe is the lightest snowshoe they have ever developed, but does not sacrifice a smidge of durability or performance. The Race snowshoes are built with super light and durable materials, including the Atlas 7075 Aluminum Speed V-Frame, and feature their Spring-Loaded Suspension system and Speed Pro Binding for added stability and security between your footwear and the snowshoes. The titanium toe and heal traction design features titanium crampons that offer incredibly sure footing without adding any extra weight. I'm totally trading in my cross country skis for a pair of these.

Whether you're a competitive racer or you happen to live somewhere that requires you to outrun moose and bear on a regular basis, the featherweight Atlas Race Snowshoe is your go-to choice for rapid snow travel. The V-Frame is specifically shaped to allow a runners all-out stride, and the Race LightSpeed Pro binding securely cinches down on your lightweight winter shoe. Titanium toe and heel cleats securely bite hard and icy snow while keeping the overall weight of this snow walker to barely over one pound.
Light and agile, the Atlas Race snowshoes make it easy to keep running through the snowy months, offering a full-stride-friendly design and aggressive traction so you can push the pace through winter.

Very light, but rigid. Very easy to straps on the boots and easy to come out.
I wore these for the first time in a recent 50k snowshoe race. They are light and fairly maneuverable and allow for a more natural running stride than other snowshoes I've tried. I like the binding system. I was enthusiastic about my purchase until the metal crampon base broke halfway through the race. The conditions were not terrible (and I weigh about 125 lb), so I am left to question the toughness and durability of these snowshoes. I liked them enough that I'd be willing to try another pair. Plus, many people in the race were wearing these and had no trouble. Maybe I got the rare lemon.
