This new nowax performance track ski uses Atomic’s Beta Technology, which consists of side-by-side capped twin torsion boxes that surround a Densolite core. The Beta Profile has been modified to include a 1mm wider and thicker javelin tip. This gives the tip more torsional rigidity which helps with stability. The Beta Profile tapers off completely at the front and back, creating a flexible, flat ski tip, and tail. This ski has a new chemical no-wax base which requires a very specific temperature and condition to work. It only is designed for new snow between freezing 32F and 15F. It does not work in glazed track conditions.
