Atomic Hawx 90 Ski Boot - Men's:  The Hawx 90 ideal for skiers who expect optimum power transmission and comfortable flex from their boot. The innovative i-Flex zone of the Hawx 90 promotes natural forefoot flexibility and maximizes balance and ski control.  The i-Flex zone works like an additional joint: it provides the forefoot and toes with firm support and can flex downward slightly in turns, thereby maintaining the natural position of the toes through every stage of a turn. This makes the skier even more sensitive to feedback from the ski, allowing the ski to be controlled with even less effort. With moderate Flex 90 and ASY Sport liner, the Hawx 90 combines comfort with excellent power transmission. Four Edge 7000 buckles and a wide strap provide precise support. Making the Hawx 90 ideal for skiers who expect optimum power transmission and comfortable flex from their boot.

Support and Cushioning:

  • Liners feature cushioning insoles and very warm, soft interiors to enhance comfort

  • Toe boxes reduce hot spots and increase comfort with 4-way stretch
  • Medium flex index of 90 offers the comfortable performance preferred by intermediate skiers
  • i-Flex zone for forefoot comfort & flexibility
  • The Atomic Hawx 90 ski boots feature 100mm footbeds to provide a good mix of comfort and performance

  • Dynashape foam quickly fits feet and maintains shape, extending boot life

  • Asymmetric liner construction creates a better fit and added comfort
  • Each boot liner features differing materials on the left and right; firm material helps you feel the terrain on the inside of the turn and soft material cushions recovery

  • No slip grip pads help minimize slipping while walking

Traction and Grip:

  • Grip plates use dual-density material to increase traction on slippery terrain

  • Located between the first and second buckles, these zones made of soft plastic boost control, ease turns and enhance balance

  • 35mm Strap

  • Bi-component shell features specialized flex zones that complement the natural motion of your foot
  • 35mm powerstraps act as a fifth buckle
  • 15 degree forward lean angle facilitates correct stance
  • Custom-moldable liners mold to ankles and forefeet to increase heel hold
  • Dynashape memory foam liner
  • 4 buckle system keeps feet from moving around inside of the boot
  • Edge 7000 Buckle

Atomic Hawx 90 Ski Boot - Men's-  With a moderate flex, precise fit and extreme sensitivity, the Hawx 90 is the perfect boot for newcomers and intermediate skiers.

Its hallmark is the i-Flex zone, which promotes natural forefoot flexibility, providing the skier with improved balance, better control and easier skiing. The shell and cuff have been reinforced in places for even better power transmission. The Hawx 90 utilizes Dynashape, a revolutionary memory foam used in the liner that instantly adapts to the shape of the foot and retains its fit for an exceptionally long time ensuring supreme comfort. Thermal heat molding of the liner is still encouraged to get the best fit possible, it is no longer necessary.

Atomic Hawx 90 Reviews:

A great boot

I was looking for a boot that would be comfortable and perform and I found it. I have been a black diamond skier all of my life and have found that getting older changes things. I still want to ski hard for part of the day but have upgraded comfort as a priority. Warm toes and stiff boots do not go together. This boot has the perfect balance of responsiveness and all day comfort.

Comfy, warm, and cool looking

I had the insides heated and fitted in the store and wore them a few times at home before skiing on them. I have skied on them for 6 hours at a time with no discomfort. I could have gone longer but 6 hours was about all my 4 year old could.
