Good idea, but bad in practice

I bought this thinking it would be great to have a reciever on the back of my Kawasaki Pararie 650. I put it on and when I started to pull my tow-behind ice sled/shanty it would continually move and eventually came loose. I tightened it with a cheater bar on a wrench so it was not an issue of tightness. Basically the idea of having one bolt hold the reciever in place does not make sence. I like the ball mount, and will use that with the reciever mount that I bought that mounts in multiple places to the rear differential (also from Cabelas). This would work fine if you were to weld it in place, but that was not something I wanted to do in my situation.

Good for light loads, needs work for heavy loads

This hitch works good for moving around light loads but as soon as you put a heavier load, the one bolt attachment fails to hold the hitch straight. If you want to use it to move something like a boat, when you stop, back up or go downhill, the weight of the trailer will push the hitch to the side, no matter how tight you get that bolt. The concept is great though, so I intend to just weld the ATV Tek hitch permanantly to the ATV hitch so that it is a safe and rigid setup.

Good concept/ Bad design

The idea is great but it needs to be mounted better. With the one bolt mounting, it will swing as if it's lose even if the bolt is tightend. Will have to have it welded on. It would be much better if they could figure out how to keep this from happening from the factory instead of the consumer having to do it AFTER they buy the product....This is on a Yamaha 450 Grizzly
