I am an avid tennis player and I purchased these sneakers specifically for playing tennis on hard court. Good tennis shoes are hard to find, but I discovered these sneakers approximately 10 years ago and have been wearing nothing other than AVIA for tennis because they are light weight, attractive, conform to my feet after wearing them a couple of times, and give me good mobility on the courts. The soles wear pretty quickly, but then again, I play tennis 3 to 5 times a week. I don't know what I will do if these shoes were ever discontinued because I've tried other hard court shoes, and they are too heavy for my feet (makes me feel weighed down), but AVIAs are as light as a slipper, yet give me good support!

My favorite walking shoe - I have tried many brands (I am an active senior) and the Avia A330W is the most comfortable walking and health club shoe I have found. This is my second pair and they run true to fit and cut. They take some getting used to because of the arch bar, but they break in quickly. I have a high arch and this shoe really fits me. I also find that they have ample toe room and yet fit my somewhat narrow heel. I do wish they were a bit more durable (seam came apart after a year of heavy wear). I am now thinking of getting them in black. Of course they look like sport shoes and will not appeal to kids who want sparkle current style.

I have 2 pairs of this shoe in the gray color. One pair fits great in the toe box. The other pair hurts my toes, and has definitely been sewn wrong. I can fully understand why there are such strong reviews one way or the other on this shoe. It's a great shoe overall, but to have two pair that fit so differently indicates a quality control problem. So if you get a pair that rubs your toes, swap it. I've got a shoe stretcher in mine, and that helps, but it's no where near as comfortable as the first pair.

Shoes fit great and are wonderful for walking. Having had foot surgeries in the past, I needed a wider shoe and this one provides both comfort and support. A word concerning Zappos service: Couldn't locate model I'd been wearing so I emailed for assistance. I was provided this free service in a timely manner and was very pleased. In the past I have also had to use the return policy and it was hassle-free. A rave review for your company!

Not as comfortable as I had hoped - The Avia is a well-made shoe that runs true-to-size. The arch rocker support was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It is quite stiff and runs from the arch of the foot outward to the lateral side of the foot which is where the discomfort is if I have been on my feet all day. For just a typical days wear, it is not problematic, just feels a little odd.

I have been wearing this same style for many years and am on my 5th or 6th pair. I walk around my neighborhood almost every day and I wear off the outside of the heels, so I have to replace them at least once a year. I know that I can keep reordering these and they will always fit. This is a great shoe at a great price. I only buy them when they are on sale.

Zappos, you are fantastic. I am still always amazed when my order shows up next day. This is the first time Ive ordered jeans from the site and I couldnt be happier with them. These jeans are soft and stretchy, the color is also great. I ordered a size down than what I normally wear as William Rast jeans fit larger than usual jeans. Id highly suggest these jeans... and will continue to keep ordering from Zappos.

Great shoe. I walk 3+ miles a day, uphill, and need a walking shoe to support me and my efforts. This one is great; takes a little getting used to as it is bigger overall on the outside, but cushions and protects your foot well. The cantilever action does seem to aid walking, and the wide size gives my toes plenty of room to spread as my foot hits the treadmill belt. Well worth the price.

Great shoe for a great price - I really love the Avia brand because I can always count on them for a consistent fit, and this shoe was no exception. It felt comfortable right out of the box and needed no "breaking in" period. I bought it in white - it's an attractive looking shoe that goes well with all of my casual wear. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love these shoes. They came in a wide which is great! Podiatrist recommended New Balance. I had an old pair of Avia running shoes and they were always comfortable. I have very high arches and my feet go numb at the gym - not with the Avia. I find them every bit as comfy as the New Balance for a much better price. So glad I found these!
