Cushy yet stable walking shoe that will make you want to stay on your feet all-day long!
Cantilever technology centers the heel of the foot over a concave sole. The concave sole performs similar to a trampoline to soften impact, stabilize the heel and provide increased energy return.
Upper is a fusion of suede, synthetics and mesh that all-together offers a durable yet breathable feel.
Removable molded EVA sockliner provides cushioning.
FOM technology is strategically placed in key impact areas of the shoe's construction so as to mimic the way your foot naturally absorbs shock. This extremely soft yet dense material conforms to your foot on impact for superior cushioning and then rebounds back to prepare for your next stride.
Compression molded EVA midsole delivers cushioning and is enhanced with FOM in the rearfoot.
Solid rubber outsole allows for grip and durability while forefoot flex grooves improve toe-off propulsion.

| Arch support. This is a great overall shoe with really well defined arch support. The A339M has the best arch support that I've ever felt in a shoe. Great for people with low arches or flat feet. It is categorized as a walker, but I see no reason you can't go to the gym with it. I just purchased a few pairs of Avia crosstrainers. They all feel really solid. I have finally found a brand that supports my feet. If you're like me and have become dissatisfied with Asics crosstrainers (what happened to their product is a mystery), then move on to Avia. Plus, Avia is much cheaper. | |

| My husband wears a size 13M. He is very hard on a tennis shoe. The Avia A339M is a good fit. Looks great on and is durable. He does not play ball, but he does walk a lot. I recommend this product. | |

| Great walking shoes! These are awesome walking shoes! So light and comfy. I am a girl with huge feet so I ordered 11 7/2 men's size they are really bulky, but so so extremely comfy! | |

| Comfort - The shoe is very comfortable. I have edema and my feet swell up. I ordered wide and also a half size larger. Theyre great. | |

| Not for the serious fitness walker (i.e., someone who walks at a pace of 4.25 mph or faster--sub 14 min. mile). I\'ve worn Avia shoes for a number of years for fitness walking, but this one is too mushy. It does not provide enough firmness and cushion. It has good stability and comfort for the casual walker. Toe box is ample for a D width. Style is too conservative. If you\'re a serious fitness walker use a jogging shoe, the walking shoes don\'t give the needed support and comfort. | |
