| Inexpensive, comfortable, and well ventilated makes this shoe a bargain for those of us who weigh a bit more than the average person. They allow for the foot expansion of a wide somewhat wedge-shaped foot. The toe box is generous in that regard as well. I purchased the shoe in two colors for versatility and to give each pair rotation for proper 24 hour aeration, which greatly extends the life of most shoes anyway. The shoe also yields enough interior height to allow for your choice of comfort or stability increasing orthotics. The generic sort of style of this shoe makes it acceptable anywhere an athletic shoe would be worn. The plastic insert for the top two lace holes should be of a more rigid type however, as the laces can cut through it within a couple of months if you cinch it too quickly i.e.: rushing to get out the front door! | |

| I purchased this product because I needed an athletic shoe with good arch support. These have exceeded my high expectations. They are very stable and supportive all around. I used to wear New Balance, but this is my third pair of Avia and they have all been excellent and I will not buy anything else. I go on long runs with these and have not had a problem with them. They are so comfortable that they make me want to keep going. I stopped buying New Balance because my last two pairs were causing me pains during runs due to their lack of shock absorbance in the heel area. These Avias soften impact and increase the distance I can run each day. | |

| Great shoes, I use them for Summer and Winter treadmill walking. This is the second pair of this same model. Avia changed the style a bit and did not make the blue. I really wanted another pair and Zappos still had some. First pair is not worn out yet so I'm good to go a few more years. Their cradle heel feels funny first time you put them on, but after a few times wearing them you will really like it. | |

| The shoes fit, so the sizes seem pretty spot-on. They are very comfortable and breathe well. Overall I love the shoes, except that the pad insert that my foot rests on started creeping up my heel during normal wear, but only on the right shoe. I used some rubber cement to permanently attach it & that fixed the problem, but I've never had a shoe do this before. | |

| These running shoes are far superior to anything else that I have ever worn. The shock absorption system is incorporated into the design very nicely so it provides an excellent combination of stability, cushioning, and energy return. No matter what surface I run on, the ride is very smooth and responsive. They are also very durable. | |

| I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and stylish! Avia makes a quality shoe, they are well made and provide a great walking/running experience. The shoes have a great feel to them, and look great! I have been wearing them non-stop since I got them, and I am very happy with my purchase! | |

| The shoe is pretty standard. I got the widest size and I love how my toes are completely free. All of my others shoes, my toes are either tight around the sides or tight on the top. I recommend getting extra wide shoes. | |

| Not a bad shoe. Width (4E) was accurate, though very slightly snug. Size (11) was dead on. The concave heel is especially good for overweight people as the design lets the heel spread out when walking. Good cushioning throughout. | |

| I bought these as a birthday gift for my nephew. He loves the shoe, says it is very comfortable and good for his everyday wear as well as for his long walks and occasional runs. | |
