Creative variety, quality ingredients, r

I used this product on my AT trek in 2011 and was very satisfied with it. As a long distance hiker, weight is my enemy, so eating out of bag is paramount. Natural High, Richmoor and Backpacker's Pantry have stepped up to the plate and hit a home run in my book. With Mountain House products becoming harder to find and more expensive, Natural High, Richmoor and Backpacker's Pantry meals are a real blessing and they taste good. I am also impressed with the variety of meal options available. Somebody did some carful research and scored a bull's-eye, especially with the oriental style entrees. Two thumbs up folks, keep up the good work. Swagman.

Awesome! Easy Yummy

I just cooked this all in 1 pan over the campfire. First I mixed up the veggie/gravy packet and put it in the pan on the fire. I then just spread the dough mix on top of the gravy and covered it. I left it over the fire (not super high flames or it will burn but a little bit of flame) for about 5-10 minutes (keep checking, until the dough looks done). The other campers were jealous . . .

good for back up food

pretty good flavor, but the amount of chicken is way too little ! please add 3 x the amount of chicken and it will be just right !

GOOD over all quality

It is the best freeze dried food for the buck, but they always seem to skimp on the chicken, or beef , depending on the entree ' .it is light and ''carry-able '' and it tastes good, and the peas are fine . i like this as a snack or partial meal or on the road , when space is a premium . the dumpling mix is great , the best part of the pack .
