Badlands Recon Daypack Review:

Excellent Pack

This pack is great, just like all Badlands products. Plenty of room to fit all of my gear... comfortable to wear, and very well made. The only negative to the pack is one that a lot of Badlands packs currently suffer from, which is that it only has a single, offset hangar for the hydration bladder. I spoke to Badlands about this, and it's a known issue that has been addressed, and will be corrected in new packs. They offered to fix this for me, but it's easy enough to just run a small piece of paracord through the bladder and the pack so the bladder doesn't hang off to one side. The pack easily fits a 105 in the main bladder pocket, or a 95 in the secondary, zippered pocket, (or both).
