Baffin Bobcat

I love these. They're comfortable, they're warm, they're easy to put on. What else is there? I put brown Kiwi polish on them first thing to seal in added protection. (I'm an old shoe guy). The big loop at the rear makes the boot easy to pull on. The elastic that runs down the side is just deep enough to minimize the strain of pulling on. Naturally, I like to hike my jean pant-leg over the hoop giving others a view of my hip boot (vanity, I admit it). Soles are very traction steady in the snow. Baffin must be a Canadian company as they have a silly maple leaf emblem that imprints in the snow (zero stars for that). I'm 'not' Canadian. This boot is 5 stars.

Nice lightweight boot; ordered this and a pair of Bogs for my husband. He ended up going with the Bogs because it had a sturdier sole for outdoor work, but it was a tough decision, because he liked these so well, too (unlike women, I guess, men don't want multiple pairs of shoes -- at least not this particular man). The boot looks neat and stylish on his foot, and was very comfortable. Great value for the price.

I bought these and Tretorn Strala Vinter Klar for my husband. The sole purpose for the shoes were for walking the dog on rainy days. I chose to keep the Tretorns, but he liked these Bobcats just fine. These were a drop heavy, more like a work boot--the other was more like a sneaker. He is an 11 - 11.5 and the 12 fit him nicely.

This is an excellent, comfy, all-around casual boot for city and suburban folks. Mid-cut pull on is all most people need, and it's convenient and easy on and off. And it's a good price compared to some of the more hi-tech snow sneakers, etc.

I bought these for my husband. He loves them. They fit well, are easy to get on and off, and keep his feet comfortable in cool and cold weather.
