Banana Boat Sunblock SPF 50 - 3 fl. oz. Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Good stuff!

Sunscreen is extremely important to me down here in Tucson, AZ... I've tried a few different brands and have had the best luck with this stuff.

Two main reasons I like it:

Goes on easy, sort of like hand lotion or something. It's easy to spread around, and then it just kinda soaks in leaving you feeling a little moist to the touch.

Sweatproof... very, very sweatproof. I am a big guy a sweat A LOT (buckets of sweat, stupid stupid amounts of sweat). Under the worst conditions, it will form a kind of film on the skin but it doesn't wash away (sort or hard to describe - bottom line is, you can sweat a lot without loosing effectiveness).

Usually lasts a few hours.

The sportsman's sunblock

As well as tramping, hiking, hunting and general outdoor activities, I sail most summer weekends in New Zealand. Sailing has to be the ultimate test of a sunblock as you get hammered by the sun, both from the sky and reflected off the water while continual dousing from sea spray tests its waterproofing. Banana Boat Sunblock reigns supreme in these conditions; it never fails. And, unlike other products, a little goes a very long way. We have dozens of products available on the New Zealand market but I prefer to pay a premium to get this one shipped out from the US.

So useful!

Was a extremely useful product that worked well as a sunscreen and lotion, didn't irritate wasn't greasy. Worked well during kayaking and mountaineering with snow and ice glare.

Dont use this stuff

I used this useless for floating down the salt river in Arizona. My wife got third degree burns on her legs. she applied it before and during the river trip at the lest 4 times. I to got blisters on my legs. Works good for the face and shorter exposer to the sun but don't get wet or its gone. Use only bullfrog products is what the doctor told my wife. I used the bullfrog this weekend and i can attest to that, it works but very heavy. I want a lighter product that is not greasy and WORKS!!!
