love these

These are excellent, deadly, muzzleloader bullets. I have used solid copper bullets exclusively for about 8 years now. When I first saw these in pictures I thought that they expanded too much and that would inhibit penetration. It does not. I was amazed by how well they penetrate, at least as much as a lead core bullet and probably more which is truly impressive given the expanded diameter. I also believe that they behave in a much more consistent manor as far as popping open quickly with consistent expansion characteristics and following a straighter path through the animal than lead core bullets. I never really worried about lead contamination but I don't at all now. They are also one of the most accurate bullets I have tried. They are hard to push down the bore but I actually like a tight fit fearing the primer going off and pushing the bullet down the barrel a ways before the main charge fully ignites. I have read about loose fitting sabots and skirts doing this and causing pressure and accuracy problems. Tough to shoot multiple times without cleaning though, I like to swab between each shot. 3 pellets of triple7 gives an average of just over 2100 fps through my inexpensive cva optima over my chrony using the 250 gr. bullets. Strongly recommend.

Excellent muzzleloader bullets

After a great deal of research I selected this bullet for my first KS muzzleloader deer hunt. Although we'll be returning in November looking for a shooter buck, I did shoot a do and the deer never took a step and dropped straight down. The damage as a result of the bullet was amazing, which is what I wanted so I could locate anything I shot. The entry hole was about the size of a golf ball, at 50 yards, and a little bit bigger upon exit. These are very accurate as I had about a 2 inch group at 100 yards shooting off my hard case, no lead sled. This bullet has been highly recommended to all my friends!
