Barnes Vor-Tx .300 Aac Blackout Ammunition Reviews:

Quality ammo

I purchased a Smith and Wesson AR15 chambered in 300 Blackout for my ten year old son to use as his first deer hunting rifle. I researched the various ammo offerings that would be be suitable for hunting and decided to go with the Barnes VOR-TX. This ammo shoots consistent, tight groups at one hundred yards and has proven to be effective on Whitetail at shorter ranges. His first buck was taken at 126 yards with this round and it did not take a step after being shot.

Grouped well from a 16 inch barrel...not awesome

I was able to shoot 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards with this ammo which should work for hunting deer or hogs but it's not as precise as I would have liked. I haven't shot any game with it yet so I can't tell how it will do but after deer season I'll report back.

Accurate ammo!

Have only shot paper with it so far, but does shoot sub MOA in my Remington 700. Can't wait to use it on game.
