This shoe is quite comfortable. The break in period was about 1.5 weeks. They feel sturdy and like they will last some time with proper care. I have been using shoe conditioner cream 1 time/week and the shine and leather are still like they came out of the box. Solid shoe for the price. Solid heel construction for necessary support.

Not as shiny as I thought they would be and they felt a bit wider than a normal 'M' should. However, they take a shine easily, are very comfortable, very stylish, appear to have good soles, and had ZERO break-in time. All in all, a very nice shoe.

I run around NYC all day and have to say these are the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned, they look great with a casual suit for any party or work day.

True to size. Happy with purchase, and--as always--very pleased with Zappos shipping policies (including free returns).

These shoes have the classic look that I love. Smooth, clean, and perfect for business casual to a wedding suit -- the leather isn't too shiny, and is soft and comfortable. The soles are perfect, and don't have the corny rubber look of some oxfords on the market. However, these shoes smell BAD! The new smell does not go away, and reminds me of kerosene or some other petrol product. It is strong. I keep these shoes on the patio when they are not on my feet, they cannot go in my closet or my clothes pick up the petrol scent. The smell also gives me a headache after a few hours. Finally, I recently used a volatile organic compound (VOC) measurement device to see if these shoes happen to be emanating some VOCs, and not surprisingly the meter indicated that some VOC was vaporizing off of these shoes. I have no way to identify what the chemical is, but it is definitely above background levels.
