Bass Assassin Shad Assassins -
The unique design of the Bass Assassin creates an erratic action that mimics the movements of a wounded or disoriented baitfish. The three-color molding process adds even more lifelike realism. P-enzyme™, a special formulation of hog lard and crawfish additives, stimulates the senses of bass and gets them to commit.

Bass Assassin Shad Assassins Reviews:

Excellent on Walleyes

Recently I went on a fly-in trip to NW Ontario for Walley and Northern Pike. I was using live minnows and my partner was using 5" Black Shad Assassins. He was outfishing my live bait! I borrowed a couple from him and mimicked the way he worked the bait and I couldn't keep the Walleye off the hook. This 5" size in the Black Shad Assassin is the best bait I have ever used for Walleye in northern Canadian lakes. Not just for Bass anymore fellows!

they're average for the type

I think that they may have changed the formula of the plastic, because these weren't as soft as some of my older bags. I specifically purchased these instead of the Zoom super fluke for the softer compound-easier to drive the hook through, fewer missed fish. Unfortunately, they're a little tougher than I would like, but if you aren't using these in thick pads like I am, you probably would never notice.

needs more sizes

Cabela's needs to carry more sizes of this bait. I've caught many crappies on the 1 1/2 inch black shad. I fish it on a plain #4 hook.

Bass Assassin

The bass were hitting these lures hard and often. The unique shape of the body gives it an alluring motion, even on slow retrieves.
