Bataleon Evil Twin Snowboard - Wide -
Next time ski patrol grills you for ollieing 'Slow' signs, spraying gapers, or boosting off knolls you can honestly say that it wasn't you, it was your Evil Twin Snowboard. The Bataleon Evil Twin features Triple Base Technology for the ideal combination of camber with a rocker feel that kills it all over the mountain, from groomers to pow, but that especially shines in the park.
Inside the guts of this board, you'll find a poplar core with reinforcements, for a smooth medium-soft flex and light weight. The Evil Twin's true twin shape makes riding switch feel the same as riding forward, and Bataleon's lightning edges are thinner than most, so they reduce the board's weight. A sintered base is utilized for high levels of wax absorption, durability, and high velocity riding.
As the board's most influential feature, Bataleon's Twin Triple Base Technology(TBT) allows for catch-free jibbing, yet it provides supreme stability needed for all-mountain freestyle riding. Twin TBT means that the board's base is uplifted on both the left and right sides above the inserts until the nose and tail kicks. A large swath running from inserts to the nose and tail kicks remains flat, and the center of the board between the bindings is totally flat as well. This allows for three separate zones—one for tracking straight, one for left turns, and one for right turns. The concave, or uplifted base edges prevent hangups when grinding, yet the board still delivers grip when placed into a turn. Ultimately, this technology gives you the playfulness, forgiveness, and float associated with rockered boards, yet it retains full tip-to-tail camber for stability and pop.
