| Hard Charging Boot Tester - I'm in the coast guard and always on the go...I've been through several pair of boots in the last few years. To save money I started buying BATES brand boots from the Base Exchange. I have to say they are comfortable with hardly any break in period, but have a notoriously short life span. I work on a flight line and pound about 3-4 miles of concrete a day...let me tell you with these pair of BATES the tread was worn "flat" within 3 months, maybe I just walk wrong, but I doubt it. I would not recommend these to anyone who cares about durability...even some of the seams are coming up. | |
