great buy

I have owned this ladder for 4 years now, nothing is stripped out, and my dog weighs 95 pounds. I don't hang it off the side of the boat, but rather off the transom. It works great ! My dog has no problem with slipping, or climbing into the boat.

worth the money

Only problem I had was some of the aluminum threads for adjustment were stripped out I had to tap the threads and has worked fine for my 110 pound hunting buddy.

Cheaply Made

Ladder is to cheaply made. First time out, Mojo started to climb on and one of the braces let go. Every thing held together with little thumb screws that strip out before you can get tight enough. No possible way these will hold with a 100 lb lab climbing on it. Could not have been tested by anyone. Can't believe DU endorsed it back in 2008 or so. But, I'm going to make it work. Probably by drilling and using some type of clip pins to replace all the thumb screws. Somebody needs to make a good ladder.
