Couple of things to consider before you purchase... I learned the hard way and ordered the belt size in what I thought was a couple of extra inches (36 in.), but had to return it for (38 in). The leather is okay; it's not supple (oil tanned) or very pliable (I think mid-grade harness leather?) but it will soften in time with use. This was a test purchase because I never purchased this brand and I originally was interested in their boots; however, I am hesitant on spending a lot if their belts are up to par (especially after recently purchasing Frye boots - magnificent!). But the width of the belt is ultimately what I needed for jeans...so it is a functional piece.

Great looking belt, but you may have to order 1-2 sizes up. I am normally a 34, too small...tried a 36, too small. Just ordered a 38...we will see. I would think I was getting fat, but all my pants still fit.

This was super big and clunky in person. I don't have pants with big enough belt loops for it. It was heavy too.

I really love this belt! I'm female, and normally wear a size medium belt...got this in a 32, and it fits perfect.
