Saved Me From Seriuos Injury

I am sitting in the hospital while I write this with 4 broken ribs, lung puncture, and broken collar bone from falling off my bike. Thankfully I was wearing this helmet even though I was riding only a couple of blocks. No injuries were sustained on my head even though the helmut was severely scuffed up. The EMS and hospital staff all commented that I was very fortunate because without the helmut I would have suffered severe head trauma. I feel very fortunate (although in a great deal of pain).

Great Value Helmet

Price is right. Ok fit, a bit loose on the crown of the head and awkward chin straps, but gets the job done with great ventilation and light weight feel. Works for MTB or a casual ride with the family. Great value helmet!

Can't Beat the Value

I'm a senior recreational rider and know little of the professional level of products some might use. For me this is the cat's meow. Why pay more.

Great helmet for the price

We ride casually, and are just starting to get into group rides. This helmet fits well, adjusts pretty easily, and seems to have good ventilation.

Simple and Safe

I am going to complain about of a lot of things but the bottom line is this. Its a good helmet for cheap, buy it.

I'm a bike commuter and this will come into play in the review.

The helmet feels true to size and I like the adequate ventilation. It is also light and I like that. So what's not to like then?

The adjustable strap system in the back is fantastic and is in fact my favorite feature of this helmet. The rest of the straps need some help. They do not lay down very well against your face and consequently just feel awkward.

The padding is also pretty anemic. How about some beefy pads so when I smack my head i have a little something to slow me down besides the shell.

The two main ribs tend to rub very awkward parts down the top of my head, not a good look coming into work. I wear a bandana and it solves this problem.

I have had the helmet for about a month now and have worn it a lot. For the most part I like it. Got it have off at REI store so really can't complain.

seems fine, but I exchanged it

I live in TUcson and a helmet without a sun visor just won't work. Switched to Giro Indicator. This helmet is fine if you don't mind not having a visor.
