Great Night Pole! Why dont i see more of them

They are a great night fishing pole. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 is because of the cap on the bottom that covers the batteries access sometimes it can come loose if you’re not careful however this has only happened on my first one which is still working fine after 7 years and does not serve any real purpose otehr then looks. I can tell a difference in the brightness of the pole from the old to the new the old is sun faded but is still very visible. At this price anyone who is fishing at night for anything would be crazy night to try one of these. They give off a just right LED Blue glow from the bottom part of the handle and in the middle where they break apart. As far as durability as a pole goes, as good as if not better then my ugly stick cat pole. I caught several large cats up on the red river in North Dakota the largest being 26 pounds with no issues. The pole itself has been through 2 reels now and still going strong. Battery life is great 2 or 3 nights of fishing on one set of AAA batteries X3. Stop reading and BUY ONE !

Big REDs

When I purchased the rod I thought it was just a glow stick, When I went to put my real on it at the fish-bank I noticed it said install 3 AAA batteries. I was really surprised when I installed the batteries and the whole pole was blue. This is a great feature at night so you can see your strikes. Also it charges the glow stick when the batteries die. Used it 2 nights in a row and batteries are still strong. The pole also handled 10 Red drums 27" to 52" long. What a night. Reds must be attracted to Blue, cause I was the only one catching them for awhile.

Great for tiger muskie too

I used the 8' Glowstik recently on quick shore fishing trip for tiger muskies before a sales meeting. It whipped a huge Mepp's Muskie Marabou out into the wind amazingly well. I pulled out a nice tiger muskie with ease so it's going to be my travel rod for pike and muskie from now on. The glow is amazingly strong and it of course works great on catfish too. How can you beat that kind of performance for that price?!?

Excellent for trolling Copper line

I use these for great lakes trolling 45# copper line for salmon. Excellent and much less cost than rods designed for this purpose. Plus the extra bling of light up rods at the dock! LOL
