Berkley Gulp Alive Angle Worm Micro Bait Reviews:

Reviews:

multi species performer, I'M SOLD

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT I DO NOT USUALLY WRITE REVIEWS ABOUT PRODUCTS UNLESS I'M CONVINCED AS TO THEIR EFFECTIVENESS. I BECAME CONVINCED WITH BERKLY GULP TODAY. I'VE USED SCENT SPRAYS ON MY PLASTIC BAITS (not Berkly) FOR YEARS WHILE BASS FISHING. AND I KNOW THAT IT GIVES A FISHERMAN A DECIDED ADVANTAGE. I "VE ALWAYS FROWNED OVER THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BAITS IN A JAR-NOT AYMORE!!! WENT FISHING THIS MORNING WITH BERKLY GULP ALIVE (1 INCH MINNOW) CHATREUSE COLOR. IN 4.5 HOURS OF FISHING I CAUGHT 30 BLUGILLS, 10 BASS, AND 9 CRAPPIE. I WAS FISHING AT FIRST WITH A 1/32 OZ SPINNER JIG TIPPED WITH THE BERKELY GULP MINNOW AND SLOW RETRIEVING WITH GOOD RESULTS. THEN I SWITCHED TO STILLFISHING WITH A SMALL FLOAT AND A GULP MINNOW ON A HOOK AND DID JUST AS WELL. THIS PROVED TO ME THE STAND ALONE QUALITY OF THIS GULP PRODUCT. THE BASS WERE SMALL IN SIZE I THINK DUE TO THE SMALL SIZE OF MY LURE (I WENT FISHING TRYING TO CATCH CRAPPIE) BUT THE BASS AND BLUEGILLS GOT IN THE WAY.THE BAITS ARE DURABLE CATCHING YOU FOUR OR MORE FISH BEFORE REBAITING. EVERY FISH TOOK THIS BAIT WEL INTO THEIR MOUTHS (EVEN THE BLUEGILLS) NOT JUST ON THE LIP.PROOF THAT THE FISH DONT JUST BITE " GULP", THEY INHALE. NOW I REALIZE THAT IN MANY SITUATIONS LIVE BAIT IS BEST , BUT AS LONG AS I HAVE SOME BERKLY GULP BAIT IN MY TACKLE BOX I WILL CATCH FISH. THANKS BERKLEY, YOU HAVE MADE A BELEIVER OUT OF ME. I CAN'T WAY TO TRY GULP ON THE INSHORE FLATS HERE IN FLORIDA FOR TROUT, REDS, AND SNOOK. KEEP MAKING A GREAT PRODUCT. THANKS. FISHERMAN TRY SOME , IT DOES WORK!!!! oldugly1911

Gulp is good!!!

Never tried Gulp! and decided to try these for perch and crappie... AWESOME!!! The first thing that suprised me was the size... MICRO... they are 2 inches long but they are small in diameter... Not sure that the scent makes a difference but the action is perfect!!! good on a 1/32 or 1/64 oz. jighead!!! Just dont leave them out of the jar too long... they shrivel up like nightcrawlers.

Best worms

wow. i love these worms. i was out bass fising and it was slow so i started panfish fishing. i ran out of red worms so i tried these. i caught more on the gulp then on real worms. the best part is that you can use the worm over and over. i caught the biggest black crappie of my life on these. it was 16 1/2 inches.

this stuff is great

i bought this stuff because i have used other gulp alive baits and they work great. i mostly use this product for trout and i have had so much success between 3 to 4 fish in a half hour i rig it up with a 1/64 ounce jig hook and just bunch the worm up on it and cast upstream and drift it down river
