Berkley Gulp Alive Leech Bucket Pint -
This is the scientific breakthrough anglers have been waiting on – an artificial bait proven to outfish and outlast live bait. Alive! Leeches are saturated in the next generation of Gulp! attractant, one that is 20% more effective than the original. These baits absorb up to 20% more fish attractant by weight and they keep their natural shapes with no kinks or bends for a lethal presentation. When you're done fishing, you can "recharge" the baits by simply placing them back into the attractant and they'll be ready for the next round of fishing. One-pint container. Approximate quanity of 36 in pint.
Size: 3", 5".
Color: Black.

Features:

  • Artificial bait proven to outfish and outlast live bait

Positive Reviews:

Great Product

Much easier to get on a hook than a live leech and it looks real. When its on it stays on, too. Excellent for walleye.

Negative Reviews:

did not work today

Head to head Gulp leeches and minnows did not work today. Live leeches and worms worked just fine. I had to switch over to the live bait. Final score Gulp 0 Live Bait 25. Not sure if I will try them again on a different day.

Neutral Reviews:

Not bad

Caught fish with this but didn't work near as well as the minnow gulp. Perhaps in a different place it would work better. Did not perform near as well as live leeches. If you had no live leeches these would be a good substitute.

Leech Substitute

These work and look and act like leeches in the cool Minnesota waters. I still get more hits on live bait.
