TDS70L 2-8 lb Line - SWEET CASTING!

This fiberglass rod matches the action of the 7' light action bait rod that I grew up using in the 1950's. These are deadly for stream trout bait fishing and casting light weight jigs and spinners. BERKLEY is also giving rebates right now on their products.
The hook holder is turned backward to my thinking(see larger view). I'll have a conventional holder installed so a hook won't scratch the rod.
Most rodmakers use graphite now and I enjoy using them, but having just broken 2 of those that were factory new. I decided to try a rod that has durability.

Ultra light for pan fishing

I have had this rod for about 3 years. Use it for vertical jigging, also casting shore and docks for crappie and panfish to supplement the 14' rods I use for spider rigging. I absolutely love this rod - just ordered a second one. It is my GO TO ultra light!! Highly recommended!

Ugly but impressive

I bought this rod specifically for crappie fishing. A slight flick of the wrist is all it takes to send a 1/16th oz jig flying.. I would recommend this rod to anyone
