Bern Macon Hard Hat -

When you wear the Bern Macon Hard Hat you'll be able to keep your head protected when you're biking, skating or hitting the mountain for some skiing or snowboarding. This all-season hard hat boasts a subtle Bern design on the exterior with a 'distressed' logo showing that this hard hat is ready to help you take on the most challenging obstacles. The Hard Hat construction is made with ABS Brock Impact Foam which is soft and breathable. Its moisture wicking capabilities will help remove the sweat from your head so that you can stay comfortable in all conditions. The Cordova Liner is very comfortable and makes wearing the Hard Hat easy on the head. Plenty of features are found on the Bern Macon Hard Hat so it's no wonder some of the finest shredders wear this atop their head.

You blew the landing coming off a rail and knocked your head a bit on the snow. Nothing crazy, but basic helmet rules say that once your head-protector takes a hit, it's toast. Lock the Bern Macon Hard Hat down on your dome and keep your skull safe bump after bump. What's more, the Macon comes with a removable liner, so you can pull out the liner and wear the Macon this summer in the skatepark.

The Macon starts with Bern's Hard Hat ABS hard shell. Bern then adds a liner of soft, moisture-wicking Brock foam. It's designed for multiple lower-impact injuries, making it ideal for mastering new moves in the park. Bern's Signature Shape allows the Macon to be up to 35% lower profile than standard snow helmets, and the ergonomic fit means it fits around your head instead of perching on top of it. Of course, you also get the inimitable style that this original visored helmet dishes up without looking like it's trying too hard.

The Macon isn't just about style, though. A micro-adjust ratchet at the back lets you dial in the perfect fit on the fly. All told, the Macon weighs 18.2 ounces (or less, depending on size) and fits like a glove, so you won't be thinking about your helmet while you shred.

Bern Macon Hard Hat Reviews:

Reviews:

I really like this helmet, probably lightest I've ever had. I've used it for shredding trees, park and street rails among other things. Definitely helped me out on a few occasions.
It is important to note though, that this helmet is made for several smaller impacts, and will not function as well on larger impacts as a "disposable" helmet. I would recommend this as a good helmet for park or resort riding, but for really dangerous situations, you might want to get a one time use helmet.

I love this helmet partially because of the liner. Having the knit liner makes this helmet so warm which is key to wanting to wear a helmet even on the coldest days. Plus the fit of this lid is awesome!
