The Bern Watts Helmet is one of those rare products that reaches legendary status within an industry. What started as a revolution quickly became a staple in the terrain park and the halfpipe, and has since moved to the backcountry, then from helicopters to first descents across the world.
The Watts starts with Bern's Thin ABS hard shell, then adds EPS, a lightweight, one-time-use foam that evenly distributes force and gives its life to save yours in the event of a high-impact crash. Bern's Signature Shape allows the Watts to be up to 35% lower profile than standard snow helmets, and the ergonomic fit means it fits around your head instead of perching on top of it.The Watts isn't just about style, though. Several large vents allow air to flow through the helmets to keep you from burning up. A micro-adjust ratchet at the back lets you dial in the perfect fit on the fly. All told, the Watts weighs just 17 ounces and fits like a glove, so you won't be thinking about your helmet while you shred. And, unlike other helmets, you can take the liner out when it warms up for spring-ski comfort.

ive been riding bern for 4 years. Only difference in this helmet than my other one is the liner. I feel its a bit thicker and harder to hear people around me.
I just really love how well this fits my head. It comes down further on the back of my head unlike other helmets i have worn. Plus i love the brim... Keeps snow off the top of my goggles!
Fit is Key
