|Big Agnes Cross Mountain 45 Sleeping Bag (Synth)||$139.95 - $149.95|
|Big Agnes Cross Mountain 45 Regular Right Sleeping Bag Red||$134.95|
This is the second sleeping bag I have purchased from Big Agnes, the first is a 15 degree bag. I love the size of both bags. I had another bag which was plenty warm but I felt cramped in that bag. This allows me to sleep on my side. I also like the feature of placing your sleeping pad inside the compartment that way you do not roll off the pad as you move during the night.
Two reasons to own this bag.
1. Great summer light weight bag. I use it 8 months out of the year in the Grand Canyon.
2. As a outer bag for my 15 degree bag. By sliding by 15 degree down bag inside this bag I'm good to below zero on my winter hikes and it still has room for the air mattress and weights less then most 0 degree bags.
I?ve nicknamed this bag the ?freezer bag?. I?ve slept several cold summer nights shivering in 60+ degree temperatures in mild locations like the Shenandoah Mountains, the Trinity Alps during a heat wave, and the Nor Cal Coast. Unless you?re traveling to the tropics and need something to keep you cool, I wouldn't recommend it. This bag is going back.
