"Super-propular Christmas morning"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These 'foldy seats' (as they're now known in my family) we all the rage this past christmas morning. As a family that spends a lot of time lounging out on the rock around our cottage we know the importance of being comfortable while drinking beers in the sun all afternoon. Oh, and don't even get me started on their usefulness with a large family and limited seats on christmas morning! | |

Good place to rest your bottom

| This compact little chair was a great way to use already existing weight in my pack (my sleeping pad) to relax after a long day of hiking. The only con I found was the mesh bag snagged on some mean thorn bushes, but the chair itself wasn't affected. | |

"Essential luxury item"

| One of three luxury items: Wine/Tequila, camp chair and good coffee maker. All other gear is meticulously selected for light weight. Works OK with BA Air Core Mummy pad. Oh yeah, camp slips are nice too. | |

Not worth the weight if backpacking
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I received this as a Christmas gift, and tried it out on a backpacking trip. First of all, it's very comfortable with my BA REM pad, although I wonder how many people will pop their pad trying to shoehorn it into this thing. Other than comfort, it's a pain in the [*]; heavy, bulky, and not something most serious backpackers will want to hump into the backcountry. Save it for your car-camping trips (but then again, if you're car camping you probably have some nice camp chairs along). Good idea BA, but when you can deliver the same comfort for 25% the weight I'll take another look. | |

doesn't make sense to me.

I have the big agnes sleeping pad that slides into the back of my big agnes sleeping bag. I found that once I had this set up in my tent the last thing I wanted to do was take it out and put it with my chair. Too much fussing about. I'm just going to get a lightweight seating pad or lighweight crazy chair instead.

Great Concept...poor execution
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This product is great in concept. However, the corners of the chair that site on the ground tore through on my second 10 day trip and the poles started sticking through. Too bad as this was a confy chair. | |
