The Big Agnes Mystic Sleeping Bag is filled with light, compressible 800 fill goose down and weighs only 2 lb 7 oz. Like all Big Agnes sleeping bags, the Mystic has an integrated pad sleeve so you never roll of your pad again. Removig the insulation on the bottom also reduces weight since compressed down has no insulating effect. The Mystic is an upgraded version of the popular Big Agnes Lost Ranger Sleeping Bag. We recommend the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Pad for use with the Mystic sleeping bag.

Shell and Pad sleeve: Toray fabric. Ultralight, high thread-count, rip-stop nylon with Kudos FP super durable water repellency technology.

LEFT OR RIGHT ZIPPER? When you are in the bag, on your back, the right zip will be on your right side, left zip on your left side.

A DWR-coated shell prevents light precip and morning dew from dampening the down, so you can sleep sans tent if you feel like it. This is a great bag and good quality. I am 6' 170 so I got the long and it was a good choice. if I were to do it over again I would maybe get the mummy version because I am skinny and I have a ton of room in my feet and legs so it takes 30 min. or so to warm it up but once I do it is great. I love the fact that I stay on my pad but it is a little okward to sleep on my side but it works. One thing to know is that it is a big set up so if your backpacking tent is small you may want to consider something else. for example if your tent is 30 sq feet or less and you are sleeping two people in the tent you may not be able to fit two of these. I really like it and would buy it again. | |

I have a couple of other Big Agnes UL/SL products that I love and this bag is no exception. First night out with it at close to the 8k level got pounded by heavy winds and wet snow but was toasty through the night. Being able to slip my existing rectangular pad into the sleeve was great. Because of the heavy winds and precip some moisture did drip onto the bag but nothing seemed to penetrate. I'm a bit of a thrasher at night but this bag has plenty of leg room so it was not a prob. | |

| Because the pad is inserted into a pocket in the bottom of this bag, you NEVER wake up with the pad upsided against the side of the tent while you are shivering on the ground. This is a GREAT feature. You can also turn while in the bag, great since we are sometimes side or stomach sleepers. The pad makes the bag stay put while under you. Very lightweight and comfortable. Since we have two (a left and a right) they zip together great, even though his is a long and mine is a regular bag. | |

My one complaint with the Lost Ranger was that it was a little heavy and should have used a higher quality down. Well this is the answer. This is the perfect bag for me. I am a little claustrophobic and the smaller mummy bags constrict me too much. This one combined with the way the pad slides into it allows me to toss and turn without a problem. It is a great bag. | |

Absolutely LOVE my Mystic!! ... both my husband and I own and enjoy this 'as-comfortable-as-our-own-bed' Big Agnes bag/pad/pillow!!! (We had read one should, for camping, try create, as close as possible, one's own bed at home!! The Big Agnes system has accomplished this for us!!) Our last backpacking trip was a bit 'rainy' and cool, but we were very snug!!! Thanks Big A !!! : ) | |

As always, BA makes great, innovative products. My only quibble is with the temp rating, but to be fair, I usually have that with temp ratings. I'd put this 15 degree bag at more like 30, but that's just my opinion. I still wouldn't trade it for the world - super light and well designed. | |
