Roomy and comfortable | |

| We used this tent as an upgrade to my old two person tent to do some autumn car camping. We are older ( and larger) now so the extra room of a three person tent made things much more comfortable. Plenty of room inside. It's nice to be able to get in and out without having to crawl over each other. We also purchased the matching footprint for abrasion protection and got a bonus "floor" for the back door. The zippers work well, though I haven't mastered getting in and out on a dewy morning without getting wet. | |

SL3 stands up to elements

| This tent set up easy in pitch black darkness the first time used. Withstood torential down pours and ventilated well in humid hot conditions. Dual doors make it easy for tent mates to exit tent without having to climb over each other. Spacoius for two adults with enough room to add two kids. With fly folded back you can lie on your back in the tent and count the stars. A little pricey but great features. | |

"A high quality, roomy, weather tight, tent."

| Great tent. My two oldest boys and I spent nine days in the Wind River Range last September. Wind and rain throught the night and we stayed nice and dry. Only issues..A little difficult to get in and out of and the stuff sack ripped. Other than that, a great tent and I will probably be buying another and taking the rest of my family to the Winds this year! | |

Roomy! | |

| When I first set the tent up I gave a yell into its cavernous interior to see if an echo would come back. That didnt happen but you won't be able to resist the temptation. My SL3 has been a valued companion on a dozen backpacking trips and shows no signs of slowing down. | |

"Well worth the money!"

| My wife and I quit paying rent and decided to sell everything and live in the Big Agnes Emerald Mountain SL3. Plenty of ventilation, sets up in 2.47 seconds, and boasts enough room for 2 adults, 3 cats, and an 18-wheeler! My only gripe... where's the double bowl vanity Big Agnes? | |

"Great tent for 3 people"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This tent is extremely roomy and airy (without the rainfly). the only issue that I have with it is that it still seems heavy. I guess that comes with the territory when you are carrying a 3-person tent, poles, raincover, footprint, and vestibule. | |

Light and Roomy! | |

| What a great tent! The nearly verticle walls provide the weary backpacker with more room than many others in this class. It is light, roomy and above all passed some gusty winds and torrential rainfall! | |

fragile fabric in rainfly
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I use this tent for three or four day backpacking and hiking trips, setting up every 15 miles or so. It sets up easy, has been a graat tent, but the rain-fly fabric has not held up after about fifteen set-ups. The clips on the tent body have caused the rain-fly to wear through at the lower points of the tent, and will leak. this is my first lightweight tent, and I compared tents for a long time before pulling the trigger on a Big Agnes, but I would rather carry an extra pound of weight than have a leaky tent after such a short time using it. Too flimsy, and very expensive. | |
