| I searched high and low for a 3 person dome-ish tent with ample floorspace, full mesh body and a weight around 5 lbs (or less). My only complaints are that it only has one door and you have to buy the gear loft separate. I prefer two doors because I camp with dogs. Two doors helps minimize the filth factor with the dogs and my sleeping area. The good part is that I can set the dogs up at the front of this tent and set up the head of two sleeping bags at the back and line up the packs on one side. The tent is longer than most. It also has ample headroom. I'm able to sit up pretty much anywhere in the tent. There's enough room to change my clothes without touching the walls of the tent. The tent sets up with pretty much just one pole which clips to the outside. Then you insert a very small pole to create tautness at the peak. there is one final pole for the vestibule. It's very easy to get everything and the footprint into the stuff sack. But it does not pack small. It's about the size of a bear canister. I suggest packing the components separately. It does hold up to wind and rain well. It's easy to set up even in a downpour. | |

Fantastic, Versatile Shelter

| The Big Agnes Seedhouse 3 tent may not be the lightest, most durable or watertight tent on the market - but it is a great compromise and great value. My wife and I used the tent on a 5-day summer excursion through Utah and Arizona. The tent is light enough and compressible to be managable for a single weekend pack (with ground cover included). There are lighter tents (see SL version - 1# lighter), but at twice the cost! The size was comfortable (even roomy) for 2 full-length sleeping pads and some gear. However, I think 3 average adults would be cramped (despite the "3" designation). It is more like a 2 person and a child or dog tent. We used the tent in very mild weather - low's in the 60's F. In fact we slept most nights with the rainfly off. The body of the tent is fully mesh, which was great for stargazing. We did use the rainfly one night during a light sprinkle. The tent stayed completely dry and had no condensation in the morning. Judging from the structure of the tent - I speculate it could withstand a decent wind (up to 50mph) and heavy rains. [...]. Once again, I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is a great tent for anyone looking to have a versatile, quality tent at an affordable price. | |

| I bought this tent for a trip to the Smoky Mountains because there were going to be three of us, and I didn't want to have to carry two two-person tents. The tent was on sale [...] and barely set me back anything. It's really light and since it is all mesh, the ventilation is incredible. I've only had condensation form on one occasion, and that was because the entire fly was sealed up, so that no air could circulate. The poles are all connected as one apparatus, and once they're assembled, you just clip the tent onto it. Setup is ridiculously fast and easy. To save weight they say you can also fasten the fly directly to the footprint, which is cool, but I've never done so. An added bonus is that the mesh doesn't hold odor like other tent materials do, so you don't get "tent stank". When my friends and I go backpacking or camping, they don't even bring their tents because they prefer using mine. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this tent. | |

"Lightweight, Super Easy, Dry"

| Recently took this up into the North Cascades. First time setting it up, it took less than 4 minutes. We could probably do it in 2 minutes if we practiced (with 2 people). My advice on setting up, put up the poles, then the tent then the fly. This tent was up in 12 hours straight of rain. There was no water in the tent, and because of the mesh design there was no condensation from our breathing. The vestibule was roomy enough for two sets of boots and two packs. The tent is also easy to tear down, and the 8x20 dimensions are completely accurate. I think it might weigh a tad more than advertised, but not much. Tent also dries very quickly. | |

Very nice tent | |

| This tent is a very good combination of interior space (length, width, and height), weight, and price. The negatives about this tent are minimal: 1.) the pole for the fly sides through a sleeve rather than clipping in, which could potentially lead to tearing (which hasn't happened in 2 plus years of heavy use), and 2.) the stakes are not my ideal stakes. It's wide enough for two adults and one child, three adults if they are good, close friends. | |

| Got this tent a little while ago and it seems to be holding up great. As with any tent, "3 person" means "3 friendly people", "2 guys", or "a guy, his dog, and gear". The tent weighs next to nothing for the size, rolls up small and is easily transported by one person. Setup is easy with the pole system and it stays up and sturdy without being tied down. | |

| Just went to shades park for mushroom hunting. Thunderstorms were expected and finally nailed us around 12 at night. I got there late so I got stuck setting up in a low spot. The storm came and I stayed dry while my 4 friends got soaked in a giant guaranteed to keep you dry tent. | |

| Great purchase from the web site. Worked extremely well on our trip to North Manitou Island this year. Light weight enough if you divide it between your party. Can't wait to try it next year on Isle Royale. | |
