Solid product

This is a great set of climbing sticks if you plan to use them for one stand location. They are very sturdy and I like the fact that there is a rung on each side of the ladder for every time you step up. If you plan to move your stand constantly throughout the season, or you have to take down your stand after each hunt, I would not recommend these for you.

Easy to install

I would have given five stars if ratchet straps were included. I have four sets of these steps and really like having left and right steps at every point. This feature makes it much easier when installing them or if you need to stop on your way up or down. I also like the 20 foot length.

Negative Reviews:

very loud

Standoff brackets should be deeper to allow more spacing for toes. Metal is very light. The thing I hate is when carrying or putting them up they make a loud sound when anything hits them. This includes a backpack strap or a tree limb. I imagine deer can deer the sound from a long way away. I will not buy these anymore.

Neutral Reviews:

Too lightweight

The standoff brackets, held by one bolt and nut, bent on the bottom section. Standoff brackets should be deeper to allow more spacing for toes. Overall the quality and design is lacking. I'm glad I got them on sale. Not worth the full price.
