Birkenstock Birko Motion Arch Support - Dress Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

These bring me one step closer to one of my unattainable goals: wearing Birkenstocks ALL THE TIME. Pros: Fantastic support. Very breathable. Super solid (won't get worn down and gross like those blue Dr. Scholl's squishy inserts). They don't come up too far on the sides, so they won't poke up out of the sides of your shoes, REALLY great in wedges and heels Cons: - In flats, depending on the softness of the shoes' original insole and the shape of the ball of your foot, sometimes you can feel where the insert ends (BUT: the more you wear them and break them in, the less you feel it) - Since your feet sit higher in your shoes, depending on how tight the vamp and the sides of your shoes are, your feet might look wider from the top than they normally would (I don't particularly care, and probably no one else notices, anyway) The only way these would be better would be if they extended to the ball of the foot with a very thin, very squishy shock-absorbing layer that would be nice to have with heels. But generally, these are fantastic.

Insoles always feel funny at first, but I think I'll keep these and see how they break in. They are meant for a flat, closed shoe, like the description says. I put them in flats and low-profile sneakers that are typically flat inside. The edge of the insole is rubbing the ball of my foot a bit, though they fit the way they are supposed to. I may try filing it thinner if it continues to bother me. Anyway, I can never find good arch support that actually fits in my shoes so these are a good find!

I really love these insoles. I use them if I am especially going to be doing a lot of walking aka the mall, fairs etc. I have shoved them into my Tory Burches, gladiator sandals and sling back high heels. They are really awesome. I have flat feet. :( and I need all the support I can get. These are awesome. Never going back!

Negative Reviews:

Not quite sure what to do with these. Tried them in all four of my pumps and they are too tall making me step out of the shoes. They also feel a little wide therefore showing the edge at the instep. I use the blue footbed in my running shoes and roomier boots, so I really cannot figure out what kind of shoes these arch supports were meant for. I would not use them in any open type of shoe because they would show.
