To prepare a clean, hassle free workspace, tape paper and the skins themselves to your kitchen floor. Have several strips of brown paper to remove the old glue and have a few beers handy because, if it's really caked on and dirty, it takes a couple hours to take the old glue off. I never got the bases totally dry. You will want to ventilate when putting on the new glue. The brush in the can is very handy. Getting glue on the plush-side fibers was never an issue. Two coats of glue, rather than the instructed three, seemed fine. I don't know how much easier BD's hot reglue sheets are to use, but this method was very easy, it just took a while. Besides, if you buy the can, than you always have some glue for touching up.

Yay touch up glue. | |

I ride a splitboard and find that my tails need constant attention because of how often I touch the actual glue. This seems to work great and one can should last forever. I don't think I would ever want to go through the hastle of regluing the entire skins though. Ouch... What pain in the ass.

A can of this glue -- combined with some brown paper bags, a waxing iron, and a beer bottle (for rolling/pressing in the hot glue, not drinking!) -- can work wonders for your old skins. Just be sure to use adequate ventilation, as the fumes are fairly strong.

I have had great luck with this product. It's a messy job though, but if you do it right this stuff works great. Don't use the iron on sheets, waste of time.

New glue helped out a lot. I was having issues with the rear of my skins coming off. New glue fixed the problem and wasn't terribly hard to apply.

This stuff is a pain to put on. I would recommend either paying a shop to re-glue your skins or buy the iron on glue sheets.

Use this glue to keep my glidelite skins stickin to my boards. Works great, can lose it's stickiness in super super cold conditions.

No fault of the glue, but re-sticking skins is a real pain. Be careful not to get anything near your skins (dirt, paper, etc) when doing so. Worth trying, but don't assume it'll go well.

Im not super impressed with this glue. I applied it according to instructions, but the skins came of my skis the first time after I used the glue while skinning.
