Using an internal four-pole/seven-intersection architecture, coupled with our three-point equalizing guyline design, the Fitzroy is easy to pitch, has steep walls, ample interior space and headroom, and is able to withstand gale-force winds. Above each door, pole-supported awnings cover weatherproof vents for controlled ventilation, even in the heaviest rains. With no-see-um mesh panels, the double doors give an open-air feeling in nice weather. For interior organization, the Fitzroy has four net pockets.

Stormproof and incredibly stable the Fitzroy combines 4 Easton Aluminum 7075-E9 poles with Todd Tex material to provide superb shelter for two from base camp to summit.

| Great in the worst of conditions, awful on warm humid nights. Sleeps one comfortable, two is cramped. Needs to be seam sealed on all the stitching. Interior poles are a pain to put up (way to tight). I have use the tent as a bivy. floor material seems a bit weak. Total weight after a warm humid night feel like double (tent hold moisture). Great for severe weather, not practical for summer. My tent has lasted over 5 years and looks dirty but works well. | |
