Positrons are great. | |

I love the Positron biners, and I am buying more to replace the wire gates on the bolt end of my other quickdraws. This 'draw is an excellent combination from Black Diamond. The keylock gates on both ends make for nearly effortless clipping and cleaning. I have a little trouble getting used to the lightweight 10mm Dynex sling however. It could be in my head, but it feels like the older fatter slings held everything more steady while clipping the rope. Now I am using wiregates on the rope end because it is more comfortable for me. (Black Diamond has a quickdraw like that too, the Hotwire, which I will buy next time)

LIke them a lot! | |

These are great draws! I really like them. They would be better if they used a wire gate system, like the new DMM draws, to make them lighter. These BD draws are amazing I love the key lock system it is amazing the sling is super thin but secure, I trust it! the stitching is great, as well as the rubber securing the draw to one side of the webbing.

"Half of this rig I own" | |

| While I don't own the entire draw, what I do own is the Positron biner straight gate (18 of them to be exact). They are the absolute best, durable, SNAG FREE biner you can buy. Easy operation, single handed friendly, and the colors I've chosen coorespond with the length of my bones so I don't have to think a lot while en-route. | |

Sport Climbing Draw | |

The positron biners are sweet for clipping. They are somewhat lightweight but mainly designed with easy clipping and unclipping in mind. They are similar to the Petzl Spirit carabiners, but these are a few bucks cheaper and just as good quality. The biners by themself also work well for racking stoppers and other things.

Great Drawd | |

| Almost as lightweight as most of Black Diamonds Wire Gate draws but with the higher minor axis strength and keylock nose. The Straighjacket dogbone works a little too well, however. It is almost impossible to move the bentgate biner if you have to (usually a good thing, but can be a pain). | |

Really like the feel of these quickdraws. Lightweight but really solid. BD quality gives you that extra sense of security. Got 'em for 12 bucks a pop so I bought 5 for my set.
