Black Diamond Primrose Speed Adjust Reviews:

Reviews:

I've had this harness for about 4 months now and it's pretty cool! It's light-weight easy to put on, take off and adjust. BAM! You are on the wall in seconds. I would totally recommend this harness for beginner to intermediate climbers. It’s a perfect harness to progress in because you don’t have to worry about fiddling or adjusting with this bad girl! You can just focus on the climb.
My only “complaint” and I use that term lightly is the adjustable leg loops are nice but you really have to synch them down for them to not ride up. Synching them down like that can cause less blood flow so your legs can start to become tired faster. So if you were planning on doing multi pitches or trad climbing I wouldn’t recommend this harness. But if you are just starting and want to become more aggressive, this harness will help you progress! I love this harness it has been through a lot I got my first multi pitch in it and my first lead climb and I think that it works for what it is. I am 27 in the waist and I got the XS and it’s hard to get over my hips (because I’m a bit wider there) but it fits my waist perfectly. If you have any questions about this harness you can get a hold of me via our life help feature and just ask for Jane H.

I tried a few different harnesses, from some older Black Diamond models to some other ones I rented from the climbing gym. I eventually was given the Primrose to rent one day and fell in love. It's SO comfy and fits so well! Definitely felt best wearing this.
I was looking at getting either this Primrose or Black Diamond's Siren for my first harness. I ultimately decided on this one, since it's more versatile, allowing me to not only sport climb, but also eventually do some trad climbing as well. Additionally, I know someone with a Siren harness, and she's always complaining that there isn't a haul loop in the back like there is on the Primrose.
All around very happy with this harness! :)

I am new to rock climbing so this is my first harness I bought. I bought it my decision off the reviews I read on this product. I absolutely love this harness! I am 5' weighing 95 lbs and an XS fit perfectly. At first I was a little skeptical because I was use to the thick straps on a rental harness, but I adjusted to this one very quickly. I feel more confident and safe when climbing up routes. In fact, my climbing partner said she is going to get one too!

I bought this as a first harness for my girlfriend. The leg loops are comfortable and the waist belt is wider and sits well. She can hold me in the air longer and can also sit in it longer while studying a route.
I have also seen many of this harness at my local gym, everyone seems to like it.
The price is really good too.

My girlfriend bought the Primrose SA after trying it on in a store. She tried the Petzl Selena 2 as well, but preferred the fit of the Primrose. Said that it was very comfortable while climbing and hanging. She likes the Speed Adjust leg loops cause it makes it easier to pull up and over pant/short legs. She digs the girly raspberry color.

This is the second harness that I have purchased and so far no complaints at all. Have been loving the fit and function. I have mostly been using this for trad climbing and it's been great under the weight of a trad rack, comfy in hanging belays, and I'm diggin the blue color. Thumbs up and would recommend this product to friends.

I use this harness for indoor and outdoor climbing, and it works great for both. It's very comfortable and fits really well. It has an automatic double-back waist buckle and adjustable leg loops, which are great. It also comes in a handy bag, so it's easy to store and carry. I definitely recommend this harness.

Selena at Backcountry.com on 10/08/2013

Does the job. At 5'9" and 110 pounds I fit perfectly in the XS. Easy to get on and off quickly because of the speed adjust, comfortable enough to wear it on and off the approach. I love it.

This harness is light weight and very comfortable, the straps for your legs are very adjustable. So far so good.
