great tool

I haven't used an ice axe before. I bought one for guiding Mountain goat hunters this fall. What a difference this made. Slippery steep slopes were nothing. i never sunk it once into ice, just the ground to help with climbing and decending. it worked great. we used them to anchor out tent and raft as well. i recomend this product to anyone

A true classic mountain companion. GREAT

I got the 80cm and still was a little short, (Long, long legs... short upper body and arms). But besides that, this axe is just perfect, ultra lightweight and reliable. Well balanced (even this 80cm monster).

Good work from Black diamond here.

Lightweight, convenient to hold, very sharp out of the box. Great for classic piolet purposes (self-arrest, snow anchor, etc.). A decent versatile tool, tried it on ice walls up to 70 deg.
