| I bought the pack for a canyoneering adventure in Zion, UT. We were going down Imlay canyon and I needed something tough, light and with a good suspension design. The pack performed really well. It was loaded with about 35 lbs. of gear, dragged through potholes, down scraping sandstone chimneys, immersed in water for 8 hours, and dragged over river rocks in the Virgin Narrows. It performed really well--the 42 liters is perfect for a lightweight overnight adventure trip-. | |

| I got this pack for trad climbing. It holds a complete rack, rope, food and water. It tapers down at the bottom which is odd but I can deal with it. Came with a bunch of mountaineering accessories that I wont use. I don't think you can get a better approach pack for the money. | |
