| Maybe it's just a personal thing but I hate the sound when the tip of my trekking poles make when crossing concrete or asphalt. Plus, I after finally breaking down and buying a decent pair of poles, I wanted to protect them a bit. I added these tip protectors and they solve my problems. No more grinding on hard surfaces, but still maintains decent traction in softer soils. All the while, adding life to my poles. | |

| This is a nice little rubber tip protector for your trekking pole. They are relatively cheap and come with two in a package. They don't fall off my tips at all and are actually pretty hard to get off once they are on. They are great for use on rocks and stow away easily when you dont need them. I use them with the old black diamond CF alpine poles. | |
