Black Diamond Uncut White Gold Pure Chalk Reviews:

...Alright it took me 3 tries to reseal the bag.
The packaging gave me fits like my 5 year old cousin. I had a moment of panic almost like when you open a bag of peanuts on an air plane and the peanuts go all over the place.
Luckily the crisis was averted and I managed to have a safe opening! After that I got me a hang full-o-chalk and climbed like I was Alex Honnold. maybe me climbing like Alex Honnold isn't evn close to being true but I had a killer time at the bouldering gym and enjoyed having plenty of quality chalk at a great price!

I have a hard time finding good chalk that doesn't feel moist. My favorite chalk is frank endo chalk but they always run out of that chalk and don't make anymore for months. I had a really hard time finding a good dry chalk like the frank endo chalk and couldn't ever find anything comparable until this! It is amazing! If it isn't dry enough for you, you can always microwave your chalk to dry it out more and it works so well!

Great consistency and is in my opinion the best chalk out there. At $10 for the large you can't buy better chalk! All my buddies bum off my chalk bucket when we boulder. Super Chalk and others with artificial additives dry out my skin too much, but this has a silky soft feel to it that keeps my hands dry and feeling good on rock and gym holds. Truly a simple decision and the gold standard of chalk!

Not the best, but definitely not the worst. In a pinch, I'll usually go for White Gold since it can be found just about anywhere at a decent price.
Dries your hands nicely and has a finer texture than Metolius chalk, but still doesn't come close to Bison Designs chalk.
On a side note- who designs these bags? I've never been able to seal the bag back up and chalk usually ends up everywhere :/

I like to mix White Gold and Super Chalk about 25:75 because the super chalk is not as dry but it is stickier and harder on your hands. Until you get OCD and picky I don't think most people will notice a difference but I like mixing them.

I have used a few different chalks including the metolius super chalk and the white gold is hands down better then it. It is really light and you dont need to use to much to dry out your hands, so it last longer then most chalks.

Was hoping for a little more block and a little less powder. But the chalk is excellent. In the future I'll probably buy the pure blocks and break it up on my own. But for the time being, white gold will keep my hands dry.

This Black Diamond Uncut chalk crumbles in your hands as you dip into the chalk bag. It does its job by drying up sweat on your hands. Works great, not looking to change to another brand anytime soon.

Im not picky about climbing chalk, I just need stuff that dries my hands. Pretty straightforward. There are a lot of chalks on the market that do this, and this stuff is one of those. Done deal.

What can I say? It's high grade, drys my hands, and makes a mess like all good chalk should... ;) but if you are careful, you *can* reseal the ziplock bag it comes it. :)
